Sound of an Abundance of Rain

Description

The novel is written by Bishop Dr Emmanuel Mc Lorren – The Sound of an Abundance of Rain. It is the same voice in Isaiah chapter 40 that cries out to make the crooked route straight, the rough places plain and to prepare the way of the Lord in the series A Voice in the Wilderness.

The focus of the Church has gradually shifted from one of holiness and the fear of God to one of grace and blessing from God over the previous few generations, as shown in the following chart: Despite the fact that the intentions were good, the outcomes were not. We misplaced something during the exchange, and we have completely forgotten what it was.

The previous Holy Ghost outpourings have ceased to exist. Those throngs of healing marvels have gone silent. Our altars of salvation are completely devoid of offerings. Instead of being inspired by messages from the Throne of God, the sermons are just long, dull lectures. Our prayer life has deteriorated, and we have done little reading from the Bible. And we’re left to ask what happened to the presence of God during our services.

There is a solution to this problem. In each book of A Voice in the Wilderness, you’ll find a collection of articles that have been written throughout the years to highlight our slow decline into heresy and the demise of what was once a thriving Church. These publications are a wake-up call to the Church, calling her to recognize the path she is on and pointing her in the direction of revival.
